The Mexican Wolf (Canis lupus baileyi), is the largest canid that exists in Mexico, it is characterized by being smaller than the common wolf (Canis lupus), it is a social species by nature since they form pairs or groups of 3 to 8. individuals called packs that are generally wolves from the same family, however they can live together and even adopt wolves from other packs, their fur ranges from white, gray to various shades of brown and black, their fur is dense and waterproof and their senses of sight, smell and hearing are quite well developed.

Unfortunately, these animals continue to be persecuted by ranchers since suspiciously dead specimens have been found. The only way for these animals to survive in the wild again is to make people aware of the importance of the Mexican Wolf.
